"I've only ever ordered the seared ahi sandwich. I love it - perfectly seared ahi almost every time topped with some slaw on top that makes this a treat for my mouth. And since I can only ever get through half the sandwich, I have helf left over for dinner. Take that penny pinchers! What a bargain! It's perfect for going out with a bunch of coworkers-no need to split the bill and you get super tasty food and the wide variety is good for even the pickiest of coworkers."

"Best Chicken Club Sandwich in Redwood City-for sure! Really good food at a reasonable price."

"I go here for lunch and really like it. The menu has flavors from around the world; food is fresh and tasty."
CC K., San Bruno, CA, October 18, 2009
"Ordered the club, which came with a side salad. The salad was….delicious! Honestly, this was one of the best green salads I'd had in awhile. Great citrus vinaigrette, fresh lettuce. Nice place for a casual lunch. Sit outside on a sunny day, and unlimited refills on great peach iced tea. Great place to bring kids, and fast service."

"The place is super clean as prior yelpers mentioned. I loved the casualness of the place, it was perfect for a lunch date with a friend."

"Loved the pulled Pork Sandwich, and the Chicken Bistro Club was yummy. I would go back for either one of them again…the service was quick and prompt."

"I ordered the hummus salad with grilled salmon. The salmon is perfect and the vinaigrette dressing on the salad is very good. The hummus, tapenade and flatbread are quite wonderful."
Brandon M., San Carlos, CA, July 20, 2009
"The tortilla soup's seasoning was perfect. I can honestly say I have never had a fresher salad in all my life. The crew they had were friendly and informative. I really need to be more of a regular here and shall."
Michael E, San Carlos, CA, July 11, 2009
"I have been here 3 times and have really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. The food tastes fresh with good ingredients. The atmosphere reminds me of some of the modern cafes that I find in Europe."

"I got the veggie calzone-yum. What a cool place-it's much bigger than it appears from the outside. And I like how you cn get a discount if you show your movie stub."
Elaine O, San Bruno, CA, June 12, 2009
"YUMMY! The place for families, because the décor is durable, menu is varied and importantly, the food is great. The thin crust, homemade pizza was excellent, can compete with the most chi chi places, and the kids loved it. The Mediterranean Salad was generously portioned, with freshly-baked, warm flatbread to dip into hummus and tapenade. Nices touch was that the salad was truly cold and fresh, and everything is made to order-but quickly enough not to wear out a 6- or 2-year-old's patience. Recommending to all our friends and we are repeat diners."
Crystel S, San Carlos, CA, June 12, 2009
"Citrine contacted me an apologized for my bad experience. They offered my friend and I lunch, so we went back today. Ana, the assistant manager, took care of us. She was great and the food was quite good. I ordered the Thai BBQ Chicken (to give it another chance) and my colleague ordered the Caribbean Pork Platter. Both were great. I really appreciate citrine's commitment to customer service and will add Citrine back into our regular lunch rotation."

Newspaper Reviews
San Francisco Chronicle, July 4, 2007:
"The airy space features blond wood with steel accents in a mix of tables and booths, counter seating and a communal table. It's pleasant enough to linger after a show, but if you're catching a bite beforehand, you can be in and out in 30 minutes or less".
Redwood City Daily News, June 15, 2007:
"The bistro offers dining areas for a variety of occasions including group lunches and family dinners at the community table overlooking the kitchen, quiet meals at a cozy booth for two, get-togethers with friends on the outdoor patio, and enlightened hospitality for single diners."
San Jose Mercury News, October 11, 2007:
"Citrine is a great spot for a workday lunch, dinner or a snack before or after the movies."
